I was saddened to see that my good friend Don passed on November 13th. I truly enjoyed my relationship with Don in the Accounting Department over the years. I will always remember him as a good friend, a wonderful accounting instructor and a caring and dedicated colleague. Please know that I am wishing you wonderful fond memories of Don during this time of grief.

I am so sorry for your loss! I have such fond memories of Don. He was such a kind man who would do anything for anyone. I have always been impressed by his kind nature and positive attitude.
He has raised such a wonderful family. I have been greatly blessed by my friendship with Elise, as well as my knowing the entire family. He and Anna have raised a wonderful family. You have my thoughts and prayers!

To Anna, Ann-Marie, Christa and Elsie and your families.

I knew Don very well as he was my Seminary Teacher in Ely. I fondly remember a youth trip to Yellowstone where we pushed him into Yellowstone Lake where it was very cold. Don swam around as if it was very warm and then ivited us all in for a very shocking surprise. When we move to Newark California in 1963 he would often visit while attending Stanford University. My Grandmother who passed away some years ago knew Don's Mother very well.

I loved Don and although we did not make contact until about 2 years ago, I was privileded to meet up with him March 2008 while visiting my Mother in Ogden.

My twin brother Jim and I held Don in very high esteem. He had a profound impact on our lives and we are very sad at your loss.

We can all look forward to a fond reunion one day beyond the vail.

My love to you and your family at this time.

I am truly sorry to hear of Don's passing. All the years I was at WSU (nearly 30!), Don was always a welcome bit of cheer in the hallways, ever-ready with a happy greeting, and with never once a discouraging word. He will be missed.

Dear Anna and family, please accept our sincere condolences in this trying time. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Don will long be remembered as a gifted and dedicated teacher who touched the lives of a great many students over the years. As a colleague, Don was always upbeat and had a ready smile and a kind word for everyone. His stoic, cheerful courage in the face of adversity set such a fine example for us to follow. He made the world a better place and he will be missed.

Dear Anna and girls: I just received word of Don's passing. What a wonderful man and a dear colleague of mine at Weber State. Before he spent most of his time teaching at the Davis campus, Don would come in and chat with me at least a couple times a week. Always cheerful, always with a smile, and so proud of his daughters. Ann-Marie, he would especially tell me about events in your life since you went to school with Brad. Don had such a positive impact on so many students here at Weber State. I feel privileged to have known and worked with him. May God's love sustain you through this loss. Pat Wheeler

I have missed not seeing Don around the University and now I will miss not having him in this world. He was a wonderful human being.
